Ignacio Plaza is a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor with particular expertise in the Fintech sector.
In 1998, Ignacio founded Primary Technologies, the first online trading platform for Argentinean exchanges and markets.

In his tenure as CEO of Primary Technologies, he spearheaded a joint venture with the Rosario Stock Exchange (ROFEX) that transformed into Argentina’s leading future and options market.

In 2010, he negotiated the acquisition of Primary by ROFEX after 12 years of cooperation. In 2012, he co-founded Cygnus Capital with Diego and, in 2013, he co-founded Primary Ventures (ROFEX corporate venture fund).

Ignacio is an angel investor for more than 20 technology start-ups, serves on the Board of Directors at ROFEX and Primary Ventures, and is President of the Argentinean Fintech Chamber. Ignacio received a Degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrano and a Master’s Degrees in Business and Agribusiness from the University of Buenos Aires and Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, respectively. He also completed the Executive Program at Singularity University.
